“ Its been more than a month for me in the US in Chicago and was visiting Boston for a couple of days. Was craving for Indian veg food. Most of the times Indian food is expensive in the US but D’guru was totally worth it. Their food was great. I paid 15 for a thali which included rice, chapati/naan(kulcha), 2 veggies/curries. They provide complementary chutneys. Their green chutney is far better than fine Indian restaurants here. Their quantity is such that even 2 people can share a thali. Also tried their aloo samosa and pakora, mango lassi. Their pakora was okayish but samosa and mango lassi was so far the best one in the US. People running this place are also very nice. ”
“ I get lunch here at least once per week. Big portions. One lunch could be two meals. The selections change a lot. They rotate about 15 different vegetarian options alone. I usually don't wait more than a couple minutes in line. ”
“ I haven’t had so nice chapati anywhere is mass so far. The food reminded me of indian college canteens. The quality and quantity both will meet your expectations. It is somewhat similar to box8 if you know what box8 is. They serve three combos everyday for lunch. 1) Veg combo , 2) Meat combo and 3) sea food combo. They also serves Indian condiments on the side, like pickles/tamarind chutney/ pudina chutney. You get to choose what you want. Their menu changes every day. I tried palak paneer, dal makhni and both felt like home made sabjis. Overall pretty good place for a quick lunch if you are in downtown boston. I won’t recommend biryani as it’s not a DUM biryani. Also, for biryani some better options are available in downtown Boston. ”
“ Absolutely the Best Meal of Our Trip! We visited D Guru on the very last day of our Boston stay, and I honestly wish we had found it sooner — it was hands-down the best food we had during our entire trip! Everything was delicious, flavorful, and made with care. The staff was so welcoming and kind — they even packed us an extra to-go box for our flight home, which we truly appreciated. When we got home and reheated the food, it still tasted amazing — just as fresh and satisfying as when we first had it. One of the best parts? It’s halal — which made us feel even more comfortable and excited to try everything. This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you're in Boston, don’t miss out on D Guru. I only wish it wasn’t our last stop! ”
“ I really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala I ordered from D'Guru a couple months ago. The price was very fair. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. Today I went back to try Lamb Vindaloo. It's also delicious, and the service was as friendly as ever. I highly recommend this restaurant. ”
“ Delicious Indian food for a great price! Lunch combo is 13 and you get two entrees of your choice, basmati rice, 2 piece of naan and chutneys on the side. Cannot beat the quantity, quality and price. My go-to lunch place when I am in the Office! ”
“ Edit: The owners got back to me. They were having a family emergency. I'll update this when I go get food from them again. Never got my food - I guess they are closed on Tuesdays but their website will happily let you place an order, hours in advance, confirm a delivery time and then cancel the order when the driver shows up because the restaurant is closed and then you get to sit there for a hour with no food and nobody to call and a massive charge on your credit card. Ayyayyayyayyayy.... one day I hope to actually taste the food here. ”
“ One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever been to! Dguru offers amazing food, incredible hospitality, and a wonderful dining experience. Tasnim and the entire team are always so kind and welcoming. Since the restaurant is located right beside my workplace, it became my go-to spot for lunch every week. Now that I’m leaving the area, I know I’ll deeply miss their delicious food and warm service. Best wishes to the entire Dguru team—please continue making amazing food with the same heartwarming hospitality. You’ve truly set the standard for excellent dining! My favorites and best dishes are: 1. Chicken tikka masala 2. Chicken keema with mutter 3. Chicken cooked with coriander ”
